
Masataka is an experienced entrepreneur with a career spanning technology, design, and branding success. In addition to serving as CEO of noco-noco, Masataka sits on the Board of Directors for 3DOM Alliance, overseeing the global expansion and R&D growth strategies for both companies. Prior to this, he was the Creative Director and Representative Director of a Japanese fashion brand where he successfully led its entry into international markets. Masataka graduated from the American Intercontinental University in London.


Chee Leng has more than two decades of international working experience including in Europe and across Southeast Asia. She began her career start as a sell-side technology and process consultant at Accenture, before going on to assume managerial roles at the Singapore Land Transport Authority and a major regional bank. Chee Leng graduated with a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering from the University of Sydney in Australia.

Tetsu brings over 40 years of experience across electric mobility, energy, and semiconductor sectors. This includes successes in developing EV, battery, and energy infrastructure through collaborations with industry partners like RESC Inc, GMS, FOMM and mobility OEMs. His expertise in electrical design and semiconductor chip development includes nearly 30 years at FUJITSU. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Tohoku University in Japan.

Mari brings extensive experience in internet business development across sales, marketing, market research, web production and product management functions for organizations including JEPICO Corporation, IMJ Corporation and Fourth Valley Concierge Corporation. She has also been involved in growing start-ups in the semiconductor industry. She has been CPO of noco-noco since October 2022 and the General Manager of the platform development team of 3DOM Alliance since April 2021. As CPO, she works closely with the Research & Development team and has overseen the development of the X-SEPA™ battery technology. Prior to noco-noco, Mari has worked in domestic and international industries. Mari holds a Bachelor of Arts in international legal study from Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan.

Tatsuo brings with him 30 years of experience in the battery business, previously at Nichicon Capacitor Ltd. (now Nichicon Corporation) and Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. (now Panasonic Holdings Corporation). At Panasonic, he worked for more than 28 years serving as product development engineer and plant manager, responsible for overseeing the manufacturing floor and management of the battery manufacturing plant. His experience includes serving as the President of subsidiaries. Tatsuo graduated from Chuo University Faculty of Science and Engineering in Japan.

Yuta started his career as a representative office head of a Japanese trading company in Thailand before going on to join the Boards of several top tier multinational automotive parts manufacturers, a Thai-originated conglomerate, and his own startup ventures. Prior to joining noco-noco, he was responsible for business development in the automotive industry, growing strategic partnerships for automotive OEM and its key tier 1 suppliers. Yuta holds a degree in Environmental and Information Studies from Keio University in Japan.
